The countdown to Super 58 is officially on.
It will be the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the San Francisco 49ers for the Lombardi Trophy on Feb. 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The Chiefs became one of three teams in NFL history (Patriots and Bills) to advance to the Super Bowl four times in five seasons after pulling off a 17-10 victory over the No. 1-seed Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship on Sunday.
SUPER BOWL 58:How to watch and stream, plus National Anthem and halftime show info
The 49ers, who were trailing 24-7 at halftime, completed the largest comeback in Conference Championship history, defeating the Detroit Lions, 34-24, in a wild, back-and-forth affair in the NFC Championship on Sunday night in Santa Clara.
With Super Bowl 58 now set, what’s the spread, over/under and favorite to win it all? Here’s what you need to know with two weeks before Super Bowl LVIII gets underway in Sin City.

Moneyline: 49ers -115 (Bet $115 to win $100), Chiefs +100 (Bet $100 to net $100)
Spread: 49ers -1 (-110), Chiefs +1.5 (-114)
Total: Over/Under 47.5 points (-110)
Analysis
Since the conclusion of last night’s NFC title game, bettors have shifted their focus in heavy favor of the Chiefs. As of Monday morning, 70 percent of the bets and 78 percent of the handle on BetMGM are on Kansas City to become the first team in nearly two decades to win back-to-back Super Bowls.
The outpour of Chiefs’ bettors has moved this line down to +1.5 after it opened with Kansas City as 2.5-point underdogs at DraftKings Sportsbook despite back-to-back road wins over the Bills and Ravens to be the AFC representative yet again in the Super Bowl.
This will be a rematch of Super Bowl 54 when Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes won his first Lombardi Trophy in Kansas City’s 31-20 come-from-behind victory over the 49ers at Hard Rock Stadium in 2019.
My early advice here is if you’re on the Chiefs, bet them now as I anticipate this line will only continue to go in the their favor and will likely make this a pick’em game or Kansas City could be the slight favorite come time for kickoff in Las Vegas.
If you’re on other side and want to bet on the 49ers, I’d hold for now as you should get better odds if the aforementioned above scenario happens over the next two weeks.
While you can now officially bet on the spread, total and even the moneyline for Super Bowl 58, the lines will likely continue to shift, even if just marginally over the course of the next 13 days leading up to the big game.
Stay tuned as over the course of the next two weeks I’ll have a handful of sports betting columns on player props, MVP odds, who will win the Lombardi Trophy and more leading up to Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11.
